We don’t play it safe with love. We move toward people with compassion, grace, and truth.

Growth is the goal — every day. We stay rooted in Jesus and take next steps, even small ones.

Wherever you are, you’re sent. The mission isn’t somewhere else — it’s right here, right now.

What We Believe

The center is Jesus.

We hold to historic, biblical Christianity. In the essentials, unity; in everything, love.

One God — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Salvation by grace through faith in Jesus — received in belief, repentance, confession, and baptism by immersion.

The Bible as the inspired, trustworthy, final authority for faith and life.

The Lord’s Supper — we share communion together every week.

Our Story

Reaching the south side since 1884.

For more than a century, Mount Pleasant has called Greenwood and the south side of Indianapolis home. What began as one congregation is now one church in three locations, led today by Lead Pastor Sean Kelly — still chasing the same mission Jesus gave us: to reach, raise, and release people for Him.
